i need to buy some stock tires to replace my old ones. i have called around the shops in my area and they all trying to charge me around 700 for tires and having it mounted. since its so much i was thinking bout just spendin a couple hundred more and gettin a package deal off of wheelmax.com. the only thing is that with winter coming should i just get new stock tires and save up again for a package deal or buy the package and put them on even though it might snow in my area?

 

I was in the same boat as you about 3 months ago.. needed new tires...might as well get rims!

 

700 hundred for tires is ridiculous. 400-500 range seems more reasonable.

 

yeah i kno its a lot but dats the price they give me i guess after labor and some other bullshit charges. when i shopped around all the tires were around the 400-500 range but i dont where these stores get there extra 200 charge from

my local pep boys do it well for cheap like 50 bucks for all 4 mounted and balanced? If i recall correctly... I was going to get them balanced by a hunter machine but all the places were charging like 25-40 a tire!
