reason being i had a previous version of it and i loved it, and now i want a deck that plays mp3's. any opinions?

I have the Pioneer DEH-P9300 and am VERY happy with it, I love pioneers stuff, but please dont buy it from crutchfield, you can find it cheaper elsewhere

just started reciving our 2004 pioneer stuff... its much nicer looking than 2003 stuff... cant wait to start selling the 1000w pioneer amps...

eclipse 8443 true audiophile quality.. 8V preouts (amps will sound more clear for interiors) built in equalizers/crossovers/time correction you can customize the mids and highs completley with a built in equalizer..dosent have all the fancy displays witht he cool colors.. just pure sound quality. dosent play mp3's without the sclipse commander but it has an aux in... or look at the higher eclipse models...alpines are also nice.9815? i think thats the model number

If it aint a flip up, then its not worth it!!

But, im' not really a pioneer fan, i havent heard that many good things about their radios

alpine or eclipse....anything else is a waste of money...thats if youre really into goood sounding music

Eclipse or MacIntosh are prob the best. Clarion ProAudio > Kenwood Excelon > Alpine IMHO.

alpine all the way. i've had em since 93. i remember ID logic, that was sweet and then the 7939 cd max one of the 1st 4 watt decks. its been a while since i have done stereos, but i still go with alpine
