What Pipe is this?

Sorry for the crappy picture, but what pipe is this? What does it do? I found a pipe hanging off the bottom of my car and it appears to be attached to this. I cant really get under the car yet to see what it attaches to, but i know it has an opening at the end. Thanks in advance...

Need a better pic, perhaps with the trim off? Looks like your brake fluid reservoir

yeah, i know i need a better picture...I'll have to get one.

its coming out of that big black "canister". Almost looks like a vent tube or something. I have no idea. What ever it is, its no longer delivering air or fluid to where it needs to be going unless the end of the line is the vent under the car. I'll see if i cant snag a better picture tomorrow.

LOL You are basically on the money. It's part of the EVAP Control Canister. It's used to purge the fuel vapor from the canister. It's supposed to be like that.
