don't do it, one thing is that you will never be able to get the heights even, no matter even if you think you are cutting at the right spot you will nto get them even. Another is it'll completely fuck up your ride, you will basically be taking all the R&D/engineering that went into them and throwing it out the door

hey it is not impossible to get them even actually i dont know about cars but i had an s-10 and i cut the front springs and it turned out aweet not uneven and all i did was take them out both and eyeball the springs and zip them with a portable cutting wheel. but every one else says that is not the thing to do ! but .... do what you want yes if you cut the springs there is a verry good chance that it will not come out even and look crapy but it might work out if you know what youare doing and it will look sweet. i would make sure that you have a camber kit as the lower you go the more you will need the kit ... i have a 2 inch drop on nuspeed springs and wish i had a camber kit.

The metal is wound tighter at the ends to provide different rebound rates than in the center. When you cut the ends off, you just changed everything.
Unless you are an engineer & can mathematically calculate the effects of where you're cutting & how to compensate, don't cut the springs. They're about the cheapest mod on a car...why rig it & make your car look/ride like complete shit.
