yea i using 93 in the 300zx and getting 18 mpg isnt friendly to the wallet

usually run shell V-power 93 octane but since thats gone up to almost 3$ a gallon
I run plus 89 octane i know is not good to mix gas but i cant afford it expecially with the way I drive

87 (regular) only. The nice thing about the 2.3!! I'm guessing the manual recommends 93 for the 3.0, but I'm not sure. My manual says regular.

everyone should be using 87 unless there is a good reason not to (FI, or nitrous)......you get worse gas mileage, and lose power going with a higher octane than needed......this has been discussed plent of times......there are reasons why you lose power, etc etc.....i rather not get into it, but if I HAVE to, then I will......

the car feels faster with 87 octane...
