plain and simple question, whats the top speed?

there's no point of going anything over 100 mph unless you're on the tracks

 

also, going from 130-140 takes a long stretch of road, and I couldn't imagine going past 140...

If you really want to know, see if a local dyno will let you rip it. Make sure your tires are rated for that speed.

Shit...I break 100 driving normal almost everyday on the highway. Its abad habit...I know. I've pinned the needle at 140 a few times too...racing wise I usually stop at 130 or so. 130-140 is slow as a slug.

my 3.0 i have had up to 137 mph but i know the car had more in her

never topped it out but close enough for my comfort level she seems smooth going that fast too

 

i went 135.. but the ride was kinda ruff.. im thinking it was a windy day. cant wait till i get a front air dam and spoiler.. gonna go for 140.

hmm. i didn't know we didn't have a speed limiter..my 96 accord 2.2 had one. why doesn't our 97 3.o have one? cause it's a 3.0?

well i had a great weekend in the dirty south, Deep in south texas where there are more game wardens then cops. and i had my speedo burried for about 5 mins and the car is like a slugg from 120 - 140 but it rides like a cloud , I hit a small bird at 130 and it did not even put a crack in the windshield!!! The Car is ment to go fast , so i let it!
