just buy an apexi style muffler and get the piping custom bent at a local muffler shop. (midas is where i got mine done) I couldn't be happier with the sound and performance. Just tell them 2.5" all the way back, and take out the resonator. Get the muffler off ebay. Type in universal muffler and theres like 200 or so.

and all the different style mufflers sound the same when you get the piping done like this. My friends have all done this same thing after me and they are all pleased.

oh, forgot that they should only charge you from about $130-$150 for the piping and install. throw a $50 muffler in there and you get apexi exhaust for $200. And if any of the welds ever break they'll fix it for free.

I have the Apexi World Sport exhaust and it rocks. It's not loud at all but adds a nice deep rumble; very classy and understated which is what I was looking for.

N1 be loud as hell though...Stay away from that. Max gains, but way too loud.

I personally like the Greddy SP or Greddy Evo...HKS Super Dragger is good too.

clstyle-thanks buddy. apexi is good brand to go with, but if you want to save some money do what I did.

ghander- i am talking about those POS generic ones. They all sound about the same on my cl, 2 of my buddies spec-v's, my girls eclipse, and another buddies rsx-s. They all sound, and look good for "POS" mufflers as you call them.

I'm sure the greddy, apexi, and HKS are great, but who wants to spend 4-5 hundred for exhaust?

People know when you buy cheap shit. Plus the tone is different...Good brands don't sound like a lawnmower.

Will tell ya what I am going to do. Granted I have a 3.0

But, I am getting a universal Magnaflow and having a shop custom install the piping. Muffler is like $50, with install and pipe I should be looking at about $200 or so.

Those are my $.02

Ash

<----4" 3A racing muffler w/2.5" piping = Low resonance (loud in car though). Sounds and looks great. Nothing high pitched/tin can like.

HOWEVER, I am gettign sick of it. Other than the sound, piping/muffler only give "maybe" 5HP.
