If you want to increase performance.

Take everything out of the car except for the steering wheel.

put in a lawn chair, take off all of the body panels, and drive naked.

Weight reduction ftw

our cars weigh over 3000 pounds stock. weight reduction is a must, and it costs nothing.

haha i like the noob pic. but to take this a little serious, youll have to search for v6 accord parts if you want variety. the CL is limited to just a few companies. you can find a lot at tasauto.com. just about everything is interchangable with an accord. other than that its luck of the draw. you can search ebay and find some things. but dont rely on it.

It's very hard to get AM parts for a 3.0, most everything is custom, trust me

thats true. youll mostly just find basic bolt ons. if you are looking for internals just look to the later model, for things like cams or pistons for a bore..but other than that get another car if youre someone who wants to stand out with tons of mods..

if you had 2.2/3 you would have a shot at performance.

but 3.0's dont nearly have the potential at the end of it. stock for stock the 3.0 has the advantage but thats about it.

yeah i agree. and i was just being dumb about the blasphemy, haha..anyway, the new accord is was too family-ish. i would just love to see a new CL come out of this..even though it never really sold like the teggy, mostly due to pricing, i think it would help out a bit. i mean its kinda pointless to have to sedans that so closly resemble eachother and have the rl, and then kill the rsx with no replacement or any other coupe in the line up. hell not everyone wants four damn doors..

well if you want a coupe I guess youll have to buy a real Honda...

but yeah the Accord line just gets bigger and chunkier. thats why I like the 5th gen, a real nice body and all that, sure its big, but not nearly as big as some of these new ones
