what is this black box underneath my seat

dustbuster4 posted this pic a while ago and i have that same black box underneath it

i was thinking about gettin a dvd player and putting it under there since it wont fit in my glove box but I have no idea what that box is. I dont have heated seats. Is it the bose amp? becuase it has speaker wire running to it. Anybody know before i attempt to take the seat out tomorrow to take a look?

also, how hard would it be to mount the player underneath my glove box, there doesnt seem to be anything that i can attach it to

if it's under the passenger seat then it's the stock alarm main unit. If it's the drivers side, then it could be the components for the power seats.

the factory amp is located in the trunk on the right side behind the carpeting. If u unscrew all those pegs and give it a strong pull(lol) youl find the factory amp neatly tucked in.

hmm...unless you mount it on the glove box door...then it wont be easily accessible since its 8 inches long...youd have to mount it sideways under the glove box...have you already bought the DVD player? or is it one your looking at?

I actually put my din size dvd player inder the armrest compartment. Just pull out the plastic piece at the bottom. and theres a hole.perfect for running wires through to the deck or a power inverter.ill post pics later.
