Radio antenna.

Defogger plugs in on the sides behind the removable panels.

yeah its was on the rim of the liner/roof and rear window...
and its not like it fell out of something..it appears to actually belong there and the piece in connects to is built into the car so its not dangling or anything like that

@ajbent....radio antenna??the radio stations were working fine and this thing was unplugged 4 who knows how long..hehe

the pix were taken from the drivers seat and my arm under the piece and from a lil further back...those "dots" in the window are along the top section of the rear window

I know on my 89 camaro the rear defroster connector looks almost exactly like that. it has a tab and the female plug (the black square) just plugs into it to make the rear defroster work. I don't think the antenna is on the rear window is it? That must be one loooong antenna cable to reach from the radio all the way to the rear window

Yeah I have wondered where it was as well. I remember some older cars that didn't have an outside aerial antenna had them made into the front windshield and knew our front windshield didn't have this feature but we didn't have an outside aerial either, I just never knew a auto maker would make a cord that long to go to the back window. I understand the front window thing because its allot shorter distance than even the outside antenna

Took my dash apart because there was a bolt that fell in there and was driving me crazy rolling around in there and there is a little square thing right in the center of the dash (it looks like a raised black piece of plastic that is square inserted in the top of the dash), that is the antenna, the thing on the rear glass is the rear defroster not the antenna

The antenna is on the rear glass. Willing to bet against that?

If you're talking about the little black piece of plastic between the two defogger vents under the windshield, that is the solar sensor for the climate control system.

If I'm not mistaken. That isn't the radio antenna but the in-car phone antenna.

I had it removed when I got tint done.
