What the hell is up with the grill? I have spent alllll day and i can't get the grill to look right! What am i doing wrong? On every other car the grill is 2 peice. my top grill is one peice. Do i have to spend $$$ to get this dam custom fit too? This is rediculous!!!!!! Can anyone #$@&in help?

 

What year is your CL?

If you're talking about the stock grill, I know that the '97 is in 3 pieces. The grill comes off of the car as one piece, but there are 3 pieces. The black plastic, the trim ring, and the logo/"wings".

 

Only the '97 grills are two piece. The 98 and 99 are one piece which makes it harder to do a custom mesh grill. I did it to my 98 grill but it doesn't look that great...if you want to see a pic let me know.

 

mine is a 98 2.3, but does that one come apart? I didnt see a place to take it apart at. Also if not, will the 97 fit my 98? Cause i will buy the 97 grill just to do the mod...Thanx Bro

 

yeah and send a pic i would love to see. The problem i have is you can still see the cuts on the ouside of the wire. I dont really like that, i want it to look as clean as possible, ya know?
