I had to get Acura to install a new one for me. They were unable to align my car after I installed the springs and struts.
Cost me over $500 for the parts and labor!

The bottom of the shock/spring assembly is a fork that has a bolt that goes through it and the lower control arm. Just buy a new bolt and nut for it, and take an impact wrench with chisle tip and break the old nut off. hell, you may even salvage the original bolt.

Your pick is showing the front strut assembly.
Mine (and jamesjinlee's) was in the rear.
I had "product number 35838" replaced (the knuckle).
[It's the piece designated 2 or 3 in the pic.]

Seized Bolt
It was a nightmare. And no an air hammer didnt get it out either. It took several HOURS to DRILL it out!! See Link and pics.

damn thats hell of aot of money 750 for springs/shocks installed plsy another 500 for the lower control arm ???
damn athlonxp has 1 right lower control arm he will sell me...
anyone here totaled thier car and will sell me thier left lower control arm ?
