Weird issues. Episode 2 (Help!)

Ok some of you probably remember my thread from a week or so ago discussing how some parts of my car quit functioning.

-Rear defrost
-First wiper setting (faster 2 both work)
-two front map lights
-dome light

NOW, two more things have anonymously stopped working and one is kind of IMPORTANT! So please tell me any ideas you have to fix this.

(Fuses are good, and the bulbs are good)

-trunk light
-brake lights

... you've got evil rats eating through the wires that lead to brake and trunk lights

You say the fuses are good, but I really think this is a fuse issue... Check the battery to make sure it hasnt gone bad? I know right when my battery went out my entire car went haywire for a while...

have you had problems starting the car at all?

-Alex

The battery is 3 weeks old....it died and i replaced it, and a few of these were already going before the battery died. Now the batt is new and its getting even worse with mroe stuff dying.

Car starts everytime with no hassle, i get no dimming from any lighting or any other signs of low batt power.

Sounds more like a fuse issue...

Is it possible that you have a connection problem with the fuses? Maybe some corrosion? Also check the negative battery lead where it connects to the car, if that isn't right it can cause starange things to happen

or not

the battey is on good, i tightened it down hard and good when i reinstalled a new battery.

The fuse box shows no corrosion, and really not much dirt or grime or anything for its age.

The relay looks ot be in good condition, but i dont think there is a way to figure out if its blown without a multimeter or a new relay.

Do regular auto parts stores sell the relays that go in the fuse box?

I know for my last car, they were differnet kind of relays that noone sold.

add another battery - to the body ground. sounds like your not gettin a good connection. the - wire gets pretty corroded to the point to where there just isnt enought juice commin thru. you could have an ecu problem, what year is your cl? and has your heater core or a/c ever leak water into the cabin.. or does it currently.

Does anyone know what the three relays under the dash, by the clutch pedal do?

I think it might be one of those, but i dont know which one does what. They arent listed on the fuse cover.
