weird buzzing

weird buzzing

get in my car to go to class this morning and i start up and i hear this weird buzzing from inside the car, no a/c no radio, just weird buzzing? right when i turned the car on and then started backing out and it went away?

Sounds altenator related. Take it out and take it autozone to test.

Is this the month of demise for CL's or what?!??!?!

Did you have your foot on the brake? If so, it was probably your ABS Check your fluid level. You'll be fine.

It was your ABS module/motor running. My car does that all the time.

my pcv valve buzzes. but its alot more common for the abs to be the cause like said above.. especially on the 97's

Just hope it doesn't happen more frequently. Mine does it everytime I start my car now, I've replaced thousands of dollars worth of parts trying to stop my ABS light from triggering, to no avail. Next will probably be my ABS module, which is estimated at about 1 grand

Mine does it from the time I start up intermittently for about 10 min. then stops and the ABS light comes on. Ran the DTC and got a code for High Pressure System (DTC 1-8) and High Pressure Leak (1-3). Haven't started replacing any parts yet until I find out a little more about it.
