We can haz LCA's?
#42
All 2.2-3 & 3.0cL's share the same rear lower control arms. We have both front and rear lower control arms. Those parts numbers do differ. However, all the 94 97 5th gen accords NON-ABS (without) have a different part number for the LCA's. Those with ABS share the same part # as the cL irregardless of trim or model.
What kind of testing is being done? When can we expect these to be available?
what's up guys, I'm a member on hondasociety and have some news about the lca's..
-good news, the guys from FFC are doing some testings on the arms before they go out to the market, the testing is being a success
-bad news, I can't say much...
The lca's in the picture above were the first and only ever made for the accord... you know how poor the aftermarket support is for our cars... Fortunately FFC is making parts that no one would ever make for the accord/cl... I'll ask the FFC peeps to chime in and give you guys more details about their products

^^ thank you so much man, greatly appreciated
as for testing/r&d, it's all done in-house, but the company is very legit and created custom 5th gen engine strut bars
I've seen spy pics of the lca's and they are gorgeous.
expect official release date and pricing by the end of the month guys...I will update as soon as I get the word

I just ordered mine last week..just waiting for them to come in..then they'll be installed.
I have ABS so maybe I can get some pics for those that also have ABS an idea of where they can move the line and mount.

WOOHOO! Damn bruh can't wait...you'll be a pioneer for us 1st genners. All the kits come with detailed installation instructions including how to deal with the ABS lines. My boy said it's no harder than raising or lowering a car if you have coilovers.

I would have gotten in on the first run but kind of got out of hand with the money situation and bought about $2,500 worth of Chris Johnson (nfl player) rookie cards anticipating him breaking the record this sunday lol : / So I'll have to unload a few then get in on that second production run for sure!

this may be a dumb question but what exactly do lca's do? and would you need some sort of subframe brace or tie bar to go along with these lca's as well?

and lca's severely increase the rear suspension stiffness. great for handling and also for those who ride dumped and dont want huge suspension travel when hitting big dips/etc
