They can actually anodized and powder-coat them in whatever color you want.

I'm not against powder coating, or color themes, I just think certain parts shouldn't be bright red or blue or whatever, personally I'm happy with my silver ones, which probably won't be seen anyway with my lip kit

It's the way they make them and the way they came. I've been planning to paint them black at some point, but with the lips on the car, you can't see the sways anyways so I don't really care that much, besides I never said I was a fan of them being lime green did I?
