warranty issues...??

hey guys,

i bought my car about 8 months ago from a small dealership in north carolina. i live in tennesee... anywayz, i was wondering about the warranty on it. how many miles is it usually? does every car come with a standard warranty, or do you have to buy it??? can i just bring it to a local dealer and get covered by the warranty? i'm not too sure about this coz. i bought the car second hand. i have about 44 K miles on my 98 2.3. thanks alot for any input.

Right!

The Factory warranty is for 4 years or 50,000 miles (which ever comes firtst) from the date of ORIGINAL purchased. You'll need to check with Acura to find when the car was first purchased to make sure that the "4-year" part of the warranty hasn't expired. Otherwise, your 44,000 still has you covered under the Acura Warranty. You can go to any Acura dealer for warranty work.

If you did not purchase an extended warranty, any warranty from the "small dealership" has probably long expired. I would check with them to make sure.

Good Luck!
