Wanting a drop.

I know that the susp[ension parts that I buy wouldbe from a 94-97 accord but my question is slightly different. Any ideas on what a good drop costs? Any recommendations, I am wanting coilovers and not springs. I know that Eibach is a good spring company, but I want coilovers. Any ideas? I have arou8nd 500 to spend at least to begin with. Thanks in advance.

Why coilovers? Do you want adjustability? Your not going to get good coilovers for less than 800-1000

if you want coilovers... the best sleeved coilover you can get would be "Ground Control" and guess what they are made with eibach springs...they sell for about $330
hope this helps

Ground control? I haven't heard real positive comments about those. Tein is hands down the best @ 1000k a set.

Everyone that has purchased coil over sleves instead of the full setup (with dampners0 end up hating it.

If you are interested in the Tein's, hit up blxmjx on this board. He can get you a good deal on them. He sometimes has group buys on them for $800.

Coil-over ride like shit unless you get the coil-over with the damper but that's like 800+. I got coil-over on my cl and hate the ride but you'll get use to it. I was thinking of switching over to Nuespeed Sport but for the look i think imma keep the coil-over on.

I just got the ST's installed few days ago, the 2.3/2.0in drop though. Rides very good, close to stock. I would take a picture for you guys but my crappin digital camera ($600 Minolta!) just died.

I have APEXi WS Coilover and I would highly recommend them. I could get them for you for $800.00+ shipping. I believe they go for the same price as Teins $1000.00-$1200.00

ive seen skunk2 coilovers go for between $325-385.
save $100-$300 on installation and do it yourself... to pay someone that much is highway robbery.

all you need is a spring compressor which you can buy from advanced auto for $30. and all you need besides that is basically a socket wrench and a 14mm and a 17mm socket.

Is that for the FULL-BODY coilovers? Or just the sleeves with the spring? Cause if is that way you gonna have to buy shocks and for that i would recommend to go with the FULL-BODY coilovers. Trust me i had Weapon R back in '99 and Ground Control in '01. They can't compare with FULL-BODY coils.
