I don't mean to be an a** for asking this question! I'm currently a member of about 4 or 5 forums and every so often I see there term/word "w00t", can someone tell me what the hell this means and when/how it used?

 

Woot generally is the same as "hell yea" or "good job" or "glad it worked out for you". Pretty much to that effect.
