VTec wire location??

I am having the same problem and I need to know where is the wire located so I can check if mine is shorting out as well.. because my car is not raving pass 3000-3500 either

Well On A 2.2 Cl Its A Yellow/green Wire On The 32 Pin Connector, dont Know If This Helps But Try And Locate The Vtec Wire At The Sensor And Follow Back To Connector Under Hood, since This Will Likely B Another Color Going Back To The Ecu

i paid a local mechanic shop $20 for a line diagram so i could hookup a safc. But others here should have that info for your 3.0,sorry only got for 2.2 inwhich tells me is right side of engine. If you do the same,i suggest that you go with mitchell system wiring diagram and not the others or order your copy of helmsinc for $44
