Vtec Question

I own a 97 2.2l CL, just wandering what rpm the vtec kick in at. I've only drivin dohc vtecs to notice the vtec kicking in. I just bought my cl so...

the sound of mine changes at around 4.5 to 5k range, so somewhere in there......... power peaks at around 5500 on the Dyno when I ran it stock
