volume level on stock unit

Hey guys i was wondering for all those who still have stock bose system have u guys ever cranked up the music where you cant go any higher? I tired today and was surprised that it doesnt get very loud like even at the highest level i heard no distortion at all. Is it just the cd being mastered low or does the bose system been set up that no matter what you cant blow der speakers???

I have stock bose too and I agree it isn't that loud. I would be curious too though if you could make it louder. I changed out the tweeters to Infinity... Helped some.

its not loud.but compared to a stock honda sound system, the bose is a metric fuckton better. i always have my radio up until it can't go no more, you will eventually blow the stocks, mine are starting to go.

Blose designed it that way, u noticed how they're still crisp at full volume, that's by design. The blose system sucks though, it'll blow even if you run it at full no matter what

dont get the audiobahn go for something better also ditch the blose system all together or get some locs (line output converters) and run out board amplifiers it will sound 100% better and louder
