Visor monitor

Klepto, I saw you installed your visor monitor yourself.
I'm curious if you have a guide for that? I didn't find one searching.

Does anyone know where to find visors with the monitors already in them?
I can't seem to find any for our car.

The ones with the screens in them are universal

I don't think you're right.
Any links?

Note I'm asking about visors, not headrests.

Aah ebay.
So there are universals. I searched google forever and came up with nothing

Guess I'll just look through the listings.
Any way (besides pictures) to tell if the visors have fabric on them?
I'm not liking these cheap looking plastic ones.

That's what I was referring to i know what you were asking. There are universal visor screens, and they do make ones with carpeting, you just have to find them. Ebay is also where I was gonna refer you to, but wanted to see if you'd search first

ebay has the universal ones. As far as mine went. I picked up a 6.5" screen off another member for pretty cheap. I just cut out a square and thought everything was fine and dandy unil i hit these metal pieces on the sides. So i had to dremel those suckers out. I then put in a really thing piece of wood and screwed the shroud of the screen onto that, then mounted the screen. Its not too hard, no one sees behind the screen so it can be as messy as you want. Just be careful not to cut too big of a hole

like i said eariler you put a thing piece of wood behind the screen to screw into, just make sure the piece of wood is longer than the cutout so that you kind of "sandwich" the visor inbetween the screen and the wood

I heard gluing was bad cause sometimes you'll be able to see the glue on the otherside of the visor from it seeping
