I had one; ran it at the track; it did nothing to lower my ET. I sold it and bought nitrous!

Save your money.

"25% more ponies" is not what they claim. What they mean is you can get an increase in horsepower by as much as 25 percent in the 1,000 to 5,000 rpm range and reduce delay when you mash down your throttle.

In regards to it not lowering your times at the track I read one of the reasons for this is because when you run at the track you come off the line already in WOT. This basically defeats the purpose of the Venom at this point. For daily driving around town though, they say the performance / torque increase is definately noticeable - especially for automatics.

Nitrous is a whole different ball game - so let's not compare the Venom to that.

I myself am still considering whether or not I want to get one, because there is a lot of mixed information out there about it. However being cheaper than an ECU reprogrammer (which apparently also requires dyno testing to set accurately), and the ability to turn it on / off at will are both attractive features. Anyone else who can shed more light on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
