OK, im lookin into getting a Venom 400 kit....what does everyone thing about these?? Is it worth the $$ to get?? Im tryin to find one for around $250 or so...but when i looked at a Venom 400 application guide, there was no application for a 97 3.0 6cyl...so can i even get one for my car?? does anyone have one on their 3.0???

I still would like to know if their worth the $$ and what people thing about them...can u tell a difference??

i would recommend a apexi vafc if thats what you are looking to do, is change your vtec and change you air/fuel ratio the vafc is the way to go

Like 97Acura3.0CL says, I'd reccomend getting an APEXI V-AFC instead. It sure looks a lot cooler sitting in your cockpit then a Venom 400, and the effectiveness of the Venom 400 is debatable while gains on the V-AFC will be there, though they won't be huge, in fact you might not even get any peak gains but you will get some low end and mid range gains especially if you get mods that increase your air-flow (i.e. CAI, Headers, Hi-flow CAT, Exhaust, port&polish, bored out throttlebody, etc.).

I have everything, including the instructions. You'd have to buy a couple vampire connectors, they cost a couple buck at any parts store.

heheh hey Tae, thanks again for the meet today...well maybe its the ferrari's but most of all...i figure i cant stop modding at performance because the next little F* that comes up to me in a Civic SI saying hes got 500HP...and races me...well if i was to lose somehow...i think i'd drive directly into the side of a building....i need to keep modding because if i start losing races...i'll be pissed...

I'd go the VAFC route but its alot of $$ and i heard if u dont dyno the car and set it just right (costing more $$) then it dosnt work...can a VAFC really mess up the engine and tranny if u dont know what your doin??

I would stay away from the venom 400, I sold mine after about a month. Buy a v-afc if you want a difference.

dfo u have to dyno the car and have it professionally tuned for it to work??

Cheap. You'll notice a difference, but I wouldn't say it makes the car faster. Just more fun to drive.
