VAFC or Venom 400?
OK guys...just wanted to get your opinions...
Apexi VAFC or the Venom 400?
Taking into account the VAFC has to be professionally calibrated and installed etc etc.

A-CL Post Whore w/N2O
I voted for the Venom because of the "professonal" installation that's necessary with the VAFC.
I've been considering getting the VAFC, but I haven't heard enough feedback to know if it's worth the cost.
Anyway, I already have the Venom 400 and think it's worth the money (and it costs nothing to install, and no adjustments are necessary)!

The "professional installation" refers to having to have it dynoed w/ an O2 sensor. Anyone can install one.
The VAFC I saw adjusted (civic on dyno after me), was incredible. Granted he had a turbo, but watching his air/fuel curve move up and down with RPM was amazing to me. He was able to richen up lean areas and decrease fuel in the non vtec range. He was able to bring up low end torque and hp in the non vtec range just by pressing a few buttons.
I spent $125 on 9 pulls so yes the VAFC+dyno costs more than a venom + no dyno. However, the adjustability is worth it.
The venom is just switch on and thats what you get. For all I know, it may be a bigger power gain! (This statement added to keep VXCL off my case).
