using the auto thingy on our cl

kinda stupid question...but yeah...

when you press auto and set the degree, the car automatically turns up/down the fan when it reaches that temp right? BUT if i press the "fan" button, does it override the auto mechanism? and it seems like whatever button you push other than the auto, it overrides the auto mechanism...hmmm

last thing...i've notice we have a little square thingy in the front middle part of our dashboard...is that the temperature sensor for the car's auto climate? thanks

Yeah pressing fan overrides auto. The sensor thing is a little grill thing located sortof near the ignition, below the dash light knob. I reckon.

Read the manual!

There are actually 2 sensors for the Auto Climate Control:

1. Center top of dash (near base of windshield)
2 Ride side off the steering column

if you push auto, everything is automatically controlled to maintain the set temperature, if you push the fan button, you can increase/decrease the fan speed but the air temperature and the vents the air comes out of will still be automatic. if you change the fan, and the mode, only the temp. of the air is automatic
