Hi all,

As i've posted last time, I was saying that my engine light came on. I finally took it into the local honda dealer here and they've checked it out. it turned out to be the infamous recall egr valve problem. Here is where my problem come from. Since I'm in the Bahamas, the honda dealer here claim that they don't honor the recall from the States. I'm wondering if i can call Acura and ask them myself to see if they honor that over here. If not, I'll have to see if the part is cheaper in Miami. How much is it in the States? Do any of you have the contact phone number for Acura?

I think they are trying to cheat you. What does it matter where you are at? Im in the U.S. and my car is Japanese, they honor it here?

 

acutally (I am sure you already know this) Acura is an American car, nowhere else in the world will you find an Acura, for instance the 2.2cl's were madde in Ohio. So technically we have american cars, from Japanese concepts.
