Upcoming mods tomorrow
I got experience in the fuel pump part.
Unclamp all the hoses connected to the tank, prolly a breather and a feeder hose. Disconnect the wire from the trunk, unbolt the straps. I completely recommend that you drain the fuel - but it could be done without draining it.
I've raised the tank with jackstands so you can prolly do that too. Bolt up the straps that hold the tank & reconnect everything. From what I remember on all hondas. Theres a bolt that you have to torque down to honda specs. For my civic it was 34(?) lbs & I put teflon paste on the threads. haha HAVE FUn! b/c I sure didn't! :p
Oh, n try not to spill the fuel you'll smell like shit all day. hahah

on accords/cl's you gotta drop the tank. its gonna be different. i stripped out my whole trunk carpeting thinking i could easily rig a killswitch to my fuel tank from my rear ashtray for security, not realizing you have to drop the tank for this to be possible.
LOL I didn't think I had to type in "drop your fuel tank"
if any of you have changed a fuel sending unit on any of our cars accords n civics a like you would know that when you REMOVE those straps *hint #1* it drops the tank & why would I tell him to drain the gasoline if he didn't have to drop the tank? *hint #2 to drop the tank.
You have to drop the tank on almost all cars. Nissans, Infiniti's, Hondas all a like.

ahhh one more thing... If your fuel pump didn't come with an o ring (fuel pump gasket). You should go buy one. Chances are your old one is prolly going to be broken or it's ancient old.

I have a Helms manual. I read on it. It looks pretty simple. Only prob I might have is locating all bolts holding the tank in place.
As far as the pulleys the original size belts should fit right?

When you take your old pulley off your old one. Hold it up to the new one before you put it on. They should be just a like (meaning bolted on just the same without any struggle).

I installed the headers. Had to make a new dummy pipe. Shortened the existing pipe to 2.5"long. Did the pump. It was very simple. The hardest thing was removing the plastic inserts off the wheel well cover. Had a heart attack because when I threw in my sound system in the trunk I accidentaly unplugged the pump. Tried turning her over and trust me it wasnt happening. Changed the plugs. Car runs stronger. Pulleys next 2 days. As far as the belts? The pulleys are smaller and larger vs OEM. As far as I understand when one is smaller the other is larger which comes in coordinance with OEM. Ex. Original 4"power steering pulley + 4" outer engine pulley = 8" in pulleys under one belt. UR 4.5"power steering pulley + 3.5" outer engine pulley = 8". Still need someone to confirm this if possible. I should search but Im honestly too tired.
Still even after I changed the plugs the car still just dies on me. Died twice. It dies when the RPMs drop. It doesnt sound like a fuel issue anymore. Its either electrical or carbon buildups. Either ways it feels like it insufficient in one of the two.

Damn arber, hope u figure out the stalling issue. For the pullies I know when I bought my 3.0 UR pullies they came with shorter belts, not sure about the h22's but I'd guess it's similar. Hope u figure out the stalling issue though, mine was sputtering after I changed the fuel filter but that was just cuz i had air in the fuel line. Could be the case with your fuel pump, make sure u prime the fuel pump several times b4 starting it
sup arber... you should have checked the belt sizing b4 buying the belts, unless your sure.
does your car start then whines down? check your dist cap... used to happen to me with the old cl...

nah the belts are simply worn out because of the constant power steering fluid leaking on them. since im doing the pulleys i might as well change the halvend belts. i honestly think the stalling is happening because of bad carbon buildup. Kumar. Can you ask for me or would you know how much to port n polish my intake mani and how much to chip n tune. Im in need for both of the two. I think iv done enough for this year.
