I have the Street glow neon, my car is teal, and i have white. Its real nice. depending on the color, the LED's can be a little too much. The Neons have this soft glow to them, looks pimp. I wish i have a pic for u of my space shuttle...

To ACTUALLY answer your question, LED's are brighter, and have a much smaller power drain on your battery. Neons glow deeper, but are way heavier on your battery. I have LED underbodies and I love them. Hope this answered your questions, don't mind all the haters.

IMO, neons/leds are too "flashy," and I wouldn't want the attention that comes with it. Even if I had it on my car (I'm just saying), it would just be another reason for cops to pull me over, and also other reasons for unwanted recognition. So, the less flashy my car is, the less hassle I would receive.

Don't know which one is better, but I'm just writing to disagree with everyone else and say that I think underbody lights look pretty hot. Most of the people who hate on them for being ricey are probably just going by the general consensus. A bunch of stickers, those big aluminum wings, and altezzas are what I consider real rice (and even then sometimes they're still acceptable), because they either look like you're trying to look fast real bad, or look incrediably cheap and cheesy.
A well-done (i.e. well matched) under-body light kit can look real bad @ss. (i.e. like someone else said, if your car isn't lowered, lower it first, cuz then I do consider that rice (i.e. cheesy)).
On the colors, the order (imo) goes like this:
Red
White
Primrose (That's what I got)
Black
Teal
Though I think they can all look bad-@ss the only color I wouldn't like is that teal.

I gatta get a pic of my car at night, Its Teal. Looks fukin pimp with my underglow. All of my friends were talkin shit for about 2 weeks when i bought it. when i put it on they were all like, ok its subtle but looks fukin cool.

Cool thanks for all the help I'll be deciding in a week or two but I really like the soft glow of the neon versus the LED lighting. My Brother is a cop and as long as the lights themselves are not showing than everything is cool. Yeah, and Primrose is the best colour! I was thinking blue underbody kit but who knows.
I've had mine in the box since I got em. The box was never opened and it's been sitting in my garage for 2 years now. I got em for free, so you can have em for like 40 bucks picked up if you live in socal. And if for any reason they dont work, i'll give ya your money back.
