go with 2.25 if you are just going to do bolt ons (intake, headers, pullies), and you want to keep the low end tq, but if you do that you might as well jsut do axleback becuase the piping is already 2.25 then goes down to 1.75 at the rear tire.

If you go with a 2.5" piping you will lose about 3-5 ft-lbs of torque before 4000 rpms, but gain about 3-5 above, so it really depends on where youw ant the tq.

If youa re going to be sprying nitrous or do some other kind of forced induction (turbo/supercharger) then definitely do 2.5".

Anymore opinions on this?? I need to know the exact same question. 2.25 vs 2.5 for a 3.0.

I'll be addin a 22" resonator in between, if that makes any difference. A while ago, I saw people suggest 2.25" for 2.x, but then 2.5" for 3.0. Does that still hold true? And are there any major sound or performance differences between the two sizes?

Resinators make no difference, they just muffle the sound more.
Your not gonna see ANY difference in your car between 2.25 & 2.5" except for a little torque difference as posted above.

^ Thank you, good sir. That is all I needed to know. I figured that info towards the top of this thread was correct, just wanted a second opinion. I guess I'll go with 2.25".
