The muffler is that funny looking thing sticking out your car...basically the tail pipe.

The exhaust system is the whole piping system from out the manifold/header to the tail pipe (including your catalytic converter and resonator).

Yes you COULD get the headers first...but why? If your muffler isn't high flowing, then having air move faster through just the middle part won't help that much because the stock muffler is probably the most restrictive, thus preventing as much air as your pushing to go out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

if ur gonna get a header (cuz us I4s only have one) and ull prob get a cold air intake CAI, then u should get full exhuast w/ new bigger piping to get all that air out. when u put all 3 together u get the most power out of em.

Ok so basically I should get these items in this order...I already have a CAI...

1) Exhaust System
2) Headers
3) Pulleys
4) Venom 400
