why would u need to go bigger than a gt40? they're rated for like 500hp, which i doubt a built f23 will make anyway. Remember that the larger the turbo you have, the more work it will take to spool the damn thing. Get a gt60 and your car will NEVER spool it and you WONT make any power. I think a gt30r would be plenty for a turbo F.

Ok, but what if you dont want to go up to 500 hp. Why not getting something like a GT22 that goes up to 280. I mean, if your going to boost it on stock internals not going past 7-8 psi, your never gunna make 500 hp. The G22 is rated from 170-280hp and is for engines from 1.7 to 2.5L. Its Small, easier to spool and would be perfect for a dd, no?

gt 22 is a little small, and might strain to make power all the way to redline. a 28r or 30r would be perfect being that it would spool around 3k and pull all the way to redline.

yes i do, and the 88/60 is a MM reference..
thats true, i had a brainfart and forgot about the amount of exhaust it would need. i figured an LPT system would be better run with a larger turbo, at a smaller psi. the same amount of airflow, but less strain on the turbo.
now heres a good question.. internally or externally wastegated? theres no way to control an internal wastegate is there?
alright so anywhere from 28-35. check.

Guys. No matter what turbo you get the a/r housing is what makes all the difference. If your a/r is too small your turbo will run flat by the time you redline. If its too big you will never spool. Id say for a sohc F series .50 - .60 a/r housing sound about right.
