I got pulled over once... and got tickets for, Header, CAT, Muffler, 9.3 ignition wires, CAI, Momo steering wheel..... So i was just wondering if they will tow ur car right there when they see a BIG ASS turbo sitting in ur hood?

 

You got tickets for all of those things? Thats pretty shitty. I dont see why you would get a ticket for any of those if they are DOT approved.

 

What exactly was the reason for the ticket? If you live in CA I could possibly understand getting ticketed for changes to the exhaust due to the clean air whatnots...but getting ticketed for your steering wheel? How was that justified?

It all seems kind of silly to me.

 

itz like a fix it ticket... because they siad it is illegal to remove the airbag if ur car is capable of doing that...

and also how would you know if itz DOT approved or not??

 

yeah cali cops are stupid. Now days if you have a car thats modified at all they make you pop your hood if you get pulled over. They check everything. I'm so pissed because the other day the carb legal sticker on my CAI fell off so now if i get pulled over i'm fucked. Some turbo kits are legal. Greddy makes a steet legal turbo, but not for our cars. My friend has it on a 99 si. I don't think the f-max turbo kit is legal. Every part you buy should say rigt on it if it's carb exempt or not.

 

Oh yeah, and the reason your steering wheel is illegal is because you removed the factory airbag.
