Tune Up
Tune Up
I am hitting 50K miles and am planning on a tune up. Is there any recommended aftermarket distributor caps and rotor or should I stick with OEM? I also need spark plug wires and was going to go with Magnacore, does anyone recomend something different? I also have the fuel filter. Is there anything that I am missing that I should change???
The only thing i recommend is sticking with the OEM fuel filter- which you probably did... Other than that,
shake the pcv valve to make sure it's operational?? I changed mine @ about 100k just for the h3ll of it.
LOL... I ran my stock wires/plugs til 100k... The women love it dirty...
Edit: Oh... I'm still running the OEM cap & rotor... and plugs... and wires... But that's because they hooked me up w/ that free 100K service for some kind of recall... I'm about to change the plugs and wires though...

Im still using all the stock stuff and I have 111,000 miles. Of course if I had the cash Id go ahead and splurge on new wires a new distributor cap and some ignition upgrades but no I have tuition and books to pay for.
