Trying to decide...need your help
Hey guys...I'm looking for springs. This is what I'm facing right now:
1) Eibach Prokit, which everyone seems to think is great..no need for camber kit. - 179.00
2)Skunk2 w/ Coilover Springs with sleeves....more than likely need a camber kit. - 280.00
What I'm thinking is..which do I get? I like the fact that I can drop a bit more ...but from reading the posts, it seems that anything past 1.5" will require a camber...am I correct?
Has anyone tried the ride quality of the skunk2? I know that Eibach should be fine because I have a pair on my prelude as well. They are great...but with the 1.4" of the Prokits...I'm stuck in a dilemma.
Please advise me of your experiences with Skunk2, if any...Thanks in advanced.

personally, i think a drop that little isn't worth the money unless u got bigger wheels. i got skunk2's with koni yellows and my shit is pretty slammed, but the ride could be better, but it's pretty tolerable. it's not the kind of ride where it would fuck up your back or anything. and yea, u would need a camber kit. try looking into ground controls, i heard they ride better than the skunk2, about the same price too, i think. or if u want, u can get the prokit and get koni yellow struts. these struts have adjutable perches, so u can set your drop little lower than 1.5 or whatever it is, but its not as easy to adjust as coilovers are

Nandowong,
The Sentra SE-R Spev V has 175hp. It has a lot of torque for such a small car. It also has SPL...so oversteering is not an issue with the car. The right and left tires just both spin, obtain grip...and charge forward. The car has a very short gear ratio.
When I was at the dealership, testdriving, I took the car on regular streets to alomost 90...with no problem. Let's put it this way...our CL's have more power...but we also have a bunch of more weight on our car. But to give you some kind of idea...the Sentra (small and light as it is) gets about 140-155hp to the tires when dyno'd.
I'd race him just for the fun of it...but I wouldn'y necessarily bet on slips. Just bet him a nice lunch at the Golden Arches (McDonalds).
