Yo~ New to the board, but have been lurking for a couple months

So... I've taken all my previous 7 hondas to stealerships out of 1) laziness and 2) my nomad status. Moving around as much as I have done has kept me from building any relationships or networking. Now that I've realized the error of my ways and payed dearly in the way of lost cashes, I'd like to find a trusted mechanic for my (new to me) 99 Acura 3.0 CL. I'm in Orange County, CA and would like to be referred to someone who knows their shit and will give me a better rate than said stealerships. In fact, I suggest we start a sticky of trusted mechanics by county/state so that we can get this info in a concise manner. So let me start with the first request:

Trust mechanic wanted for my 99 Acura 3.0 CL in the Orange County area.

I need a well-rounded mechanic who can do just about anything you'd need done to the car. Doesn't have to be a full-on body shop, but must be a well equipped mechanic shop with all the tools to do alignments, major servicing as well as the minor stuff. I have a dent that needs to be pulled on the drivers side door, but will probably end up takin' that to a dedicated body shop.

If a sticky or thread has already been created, please advise (and pardon me as I have not been able to find one via search for "Trusted Mechanic". Thanks

I'm wanting specific referrals to people who can be contacted. And lets please try to keep this thread on topic guys

 

well about the views to referal ratio, thing is, the thread title is pretty universal and very broad, so there guys like me from out of state that have to look, and I can give you a decent referal if you wanna mechanic in Texas, but not in cali. . . that and im sure alot of us DIY our stuff, because GENERALLY (cant speak for all), people that tend to pay peopleto do their stuff have no real big need for places like this
