trunk ground?

trunk ground?

where did you guys ground off your amp to in the trunk?
im having a hard time getting my amp to turn on, so i wanna rule off the possibility of a bad ground.

use a backseat bolt thats what i usualy use in almost every car or a trunk hinge to chasis make sure you take the paint off though

whatever you do, dont use the trunk latch. i would open my trunk and my amp would shut off lol

lol i was actually gonna use it, but the screw was in pretty good, so i moved on.

I grounded my bottle warmer with a screw I found right below my driver side tail light from the inside of the trunk. You'll have to pull on the carpet to see it.

Check where the reverse bulb lights are. There's a screw on either side. Shave it down til u see bare metal. It should work fine.

just get a self tapping screw and bolt to the rear metal frame that holds the seat

Jesus, I've posted this 20 times, search azn u know better. The best ground in the trunk, and I've used 4 or 5 different ones, is the bolts on the rear strut assemblies

and a month later...........LOL
i finally found out what i did wrong, my ground was fine. i connected it to the antenna REM wire, well i found out that is wrong on my headunit and that there is a wire with the same exact color and white stripe, turns out the other one is the amp power on wire........

it told me to connect to the rem wire so i did! it was sony's fault
