trouble with suspension
Ok, I broke the heads off the bolts off the bottom of the rear shocks 2 weeks ago. This week, I cut the nut that's welded to the rear shock off, so there's no more threads holding the bolt in the bushing. But I still can't get the damn bolt out of the bushing! Hammering doesn't do anything... gonna try a torch later.
How did everybody else resolve this? I can't believe a 4 year old car is so rusty. I need to get this car back together so I can put my new turboback exhaust on the WRX. That way, if I break any bolts on the WRX, at least I still have a car to drive to work.

Get a drill bit about the size of the bolt and drill that sucker out. I lowered an Accord that had the same bolt that was being stubborn. I used a lot of liquid wrench and I didn't force the bolt off. It eventually came off, but it just took some time.
