ugh.......

i have a 98 2.3 auto, no nitrous or turbo, 85k miles.

the transmission is really slow to shift from gear 1-2, it slips during the shift.......on any moderate acceleration, where the shift point is above 3000 rpm


any idea what could be wrong and how much it could cost to fix?

it should be covered under your powertrain

 

call acura and ask them they would know the most

 

is the powertrain warranty longer than the 5yr/50k warranty?
