so yea.. my tranny has been going crazy past few days. can't decide on gears, wont shift, starts in second when in d4, wont shift outta 1st, hard lurches/shifts.....etc.

so ...blown tranny? i dont know. i had problems in december with the computer. they reset and it was fine (except with a weird 3-4 shift).
alternator? could be, but no other symptoms.

so i checked my tranny fluid. almost empty. HERE's my question. How do i add more fluid. do i just go under the car and add there (if yall have a better description, it would be much appreciated).
and. do you think this is the source of my problems.

fyi..its my 2nd tranny. had since last july.

what id do is get a long funnel and fill it up where the dipstick thing is......i think thats how you supposed to do it....not to sure....

and this could be a cause of your problems.......get a tranny treatment....could help out in the long run

yeah ...trying to fill up the tranny fluid from the bottom is like agreeing to have sex with a 400 pound woman and letting her be on top.....just plain crazy man

with a newer tranny u dont wanna put treatment in. if you look at the top of the tranny about 8 inches behind the dipstick ull see a plug with a 17mm head on it. just remove the plug get a funnel and use ONLY honda atf and fill it back up till it reads full on the dipstick. u do not want the car to be running (like most auto's) if it is running while u fill when it says full it will be too full and blow seals. so its easy. just remove the plug, fill(with ONLY honda atf.) while its not running then reinstall the plug. if u got any questiuons pm me.
