Tires

Ok so in April, we put new tires on my car. They dont look sporty, theyre nothing special (i wish they were but my parents were tired of me wearing the shit out of 2 sets already). So I noticed that driving on the highway above 60 mph, theres like a wobble with the steering wheel...Its not too noticeable, but it moves back and forth a little bit on its own...I expect it to be smooth and the ride is ok, but could be better...What tires would be the best for sport/comfort? Theres only about 5k miles on these ones, they're pirelli cinturato p5 205/55R16.

one or more of your tires may be a wee bit misshapen. i have yokohamas on my car, and they ride real good.

Amen =] I use some random 15$ tires that are used in my rear end, and idm but they're cheap ones for the front. Fine ride imo, just have them balanced, do a visual inspection if you have anything wrong with them. I had a 3in tall 2 in wide tumor coming out if the tread on one of my tires one day after church.

I have a shake at highway speeds. Several shops couldn't tell me what the problem is, even after replacing shit and balancing.

Have you checked your rims? One of my rims is bent a little, and my steering shakes a little bit at highway speeds but it still drives straight.

i just got them rotated and balanced yesterday and its fine. It seems like its still a little jittery over smooth roads, but i cant expect a mercedes ride i guess? The highway ride a little better too.
