Tires

I am getting a 17x7 wheels. Can a 225/45/17 fit on my car without rubbing? I have a Eibach Pro-Kit that gives me 1.4 drop all around. Any input would be great. I have a 99 3.0

yeah i want to do the same. i want 225/45 instad of 215/45 cuz that way i have alittle more tire wall and im thinkin ill get rid of some wheel well gap without a drop. i dont know about a drop but stock discounttiredirect.com said they would fit. ill have to double check though.

The wheels will look like truck tires if you dont drop it. I love my Eibach's?

By the VXCL I like your foglights. What kind are they? Are they easy to install??

oh yeah i forgot my info link is screwed up but they are PIAA 1700X blue plasma fogs. yes PIAA makes it very easy to install. there is just one prob. most of those sets come with the PIAA plf5a relay and they ahd a lot of probs with them. mine just blew so now i have the plf5b. just make sure u get the newer relay. if not PIAA will warrenty it, but ull prob be awhile without fogs.

also one other thing if im parked for more then say like 5-10 mins i turn them off cuz since they aren't being cooled by moving air they got xtremely hot and they will cook the paint on the bumper.

I just installed 215-45-17 on a 97- CL. I have about 1/2 inch clearance. They are mounted on 880 Primax Chromed Rims. The reason I say this is because some rims are set deeper than others. I have seen 225's on other rims but they would not fit on these without rubbing.

I was going to get Konig Reign wheels. Will those 225/45/17 fit without rubbing?
