tire and rim advice

ok, i was looking into ordering rims this weeken. my stock tires are worn to hell, one has a two nails in it another is completely flat so i have a donut on it. Should i just replace the stock tires and get rims another time? i found a good deal on some giovanna kuma 17in hyperblack for 650, shipped with tires mounted and balanced with lug nuts. by the way i have a98 2.3 black . Any advice on what i should do ?

if you have the money I would go ahead and buy the rims now, or else it seems like you would end up buying new stock tires now and when you want rims later you'll have to pay for those and new tires to fit them..in the end it'll cost you more..also, could you send me a link of those rims? I go back and forth everyday deciding whether or not i want to put rims on my car down the road. Anyways, good luck

I'm almost to that point, my tires are getting close, If you can swing the Jack for them just do it, or later you'll still want rim's and wonder why you didn't... Plus it's like an excuse to hook it up.. Gotta 97 3.0 Candy Apple

Yeah, sounds like a Wheel Max deal - be careful, they tried to give me the run around, so I gave them the gas face. They charged my credit card and then gave me some excuses like it was declined, then my address didn't match on the credit card, then it was the order got shipped but they couldn't give me a method of tracking my shipment, so I called my bank and cancelled the transaction. After I called my bank 3 days later, they somehow found the transaction and then reversed the charge on my credit card.

I bought some new tires for my 18's and I may get some new rims this winter, but I did want some gunmetal rims or those same hyperblack ones would have done me nicely.

lol juice, you give away your age when you gave them the "gas face". And yeah, Wheelmax will always try to hose you. Even with 2 warehouses, they still rarely have what you want in stock. When I tried ordering my Axis mod se7ens, they had an unreal price on there, then I find out that they don't even carry Axis anymore, they just keep it on the website. If you get decent service from them, the price is rarely better - otherwise I'd proceed with caution.

I got my rims from Wheelmax - good product, lousy service. Took near three weeks after my CC was charged before I got my wheels. Granted they did ship from FL to MT via UPS ground... Still it was a pain to wait. Dont bother calling them - they are idiots. I am just lucky they got my order correct since I have heard some horror stories about that. All in all it wasnt a BAD experience, they just took longer than I would have liked - but for the price ( $1100 for 19's w/tires) I cant complain
