Smile Tire Issue

Hey guys,

Just bought my CL '97, and I noticed that my rear right tire is slowly leaking air. I cant seem to find the leak, and I kinda wana take care of it myself without involving a tire shop....

Any reviews about those tire foams? The ones used to fix a flat by injecting a foam into the tire before filling it? Any idea how good or bad tht is?

Thanks!

They can cause a problem with balance, and they are only made to be temporary fixes. If its a slow leak a plug may be too much, I'd just get it patched.

Did you check the valve stem. Put a little soapy water in the stem to see if it leaks.

ive used fix a flat before and it worked great, no balance issues. You just have to make sure you drive around so that it coats the inside evenly.

I work at a Tire shop and FIX a FLAT = TERRIBLE. It eats the wheel and the ruins the tire. If you want to find the leak get some windex put 40lbs of air and spray that sucker down.
