Hey guys I got a couple of quick questions for you.
1.) Today i got pulled over for my tint (13%). The cop that pulled me over said all i need is a couple of pictures to present the court and he'll let the ticket go. He kept asking me if the address was correct (like 4-5 times). Is he gonna check up on my car? Also i need to get my hands on some 97 primrose pics in less than a month.
2.) A buddy of mine recently opened his autobody shop. He said he will paint my side skirts and mud flaps to match the car for free. (I have to pay for the paint). I searched the forums already but my concern is the paint will chip off that plastic material. Is there anything i have to tell him to prep that material? Is it even worth it to paint?

are you sure the cops are gonna be that dumb to just accept a pic? if so just search ebay for a primrose cl.

as for the skirt question, I had mine painted as well. The guy said he couldnt guarantee that the paint wouldnt chip off because of the material. I had him sand, primer, paint and clear and so far no paint has been chipped. If hes doing it for free, then do it, it looks 10x better

 

Thats what the cop told me, he said that all i need is 2 pictures to prove that i took the tint off and he'll be there to squash the ticket. I'll just tell the court that if they give me a hard time that I'm getting body work done...
All I need to tell my freind is to sand it down before he does it and i should be golden right? Only b/c I think he is planning on just painting them and putting some clear coat on them.

 

where you from in rhode island? i got pulled over by a cranston cop for my old car (infiniti I30 with 15% on all windows cept the windshield) and they were dicks about it.

I dont think ive seen you around, not too many primrose cl's around with tint. I live in western cranston in the summer and have a house in narragansett for the winter during school.

 

you might get away this time but second offenses are a bitch.

 

w00 i got one for $75 for 7% tint on my 240sx. god did that suck

 

my god, why do you go that low? just get the lowest legal, or pretty close below that.

Does anyone have a primrose CL with no tint in the RI area that i can take a couple pictures of?

 

Just find a member with a primrose with no tint and have them host their pictures on Webshots or something where you can just order the photos for like $10. That would solve your problem huh?
