Hey guys. I was just driving and my CEL came on. My exhaust is turning to poo poo, where the pipe welded to the muffler and the B-pipe meet is all coming undone and rusting out really bad, my car sounds like a Diesel Truck lol, could that be the reason for the CEL because otherwise, I have no idea whats wrong with the car. Thx

 

It all depends on the code that's thrown, check your codes, otherwise, could be an exhaust leak, or an o2 sensor

 

time for a trip to the dealership, 97 emissions warranty ftw.

 

I keep forgetting about that since I have my new exhaust parts, I really should hit that up for the EGR

 

thats the first thing i think about when the cel come up or the car acts funny

 

Well I know I have an exhaust leak, so I'm assuming thats the issue, I'll have my dad run a diagnostic on it

well it looks like its time for a brand new exhaust system

 

mmm yea get a nice exhaust to replace that baby

 

I'm gunna get stock again and put a cutout in for the turbo so I can run open downpipe lol
