Thinking of selling-What do you think it's worth?

Hey guys. I'm thinking of selling my cl, jsut had a bunch of issues, maintanence and just looking to get something new but I need to get a decent amount for my cl now if I want to buy anything else because I don't really have any extra money to add to get a better car. (sorry if that didnt make any sense lol)

These are the specs of my car and all the things I've done with it.

1997 2.2cl
119,000 miles
5 spd
Premium Package
Red/dark gray leather
climate control
power windows/doors/locks/driver seat
power sunroof/moonroof
Cruise Control

Things I've redone/added-
Clarion DXZ855MP-touch screen cd player
Brand new brake system that includes-
-New rear calipers
-New front rotors
-New brake pads all around
-New brake line
New tires from may '05-yokohama Avid V4s 205/55/16
Fan Belt redone at 90k

There are a couple cosmetic blemishes, common for an 8 year old car, couple tiny dings on the hood, few small scratches, in pretty good cosmetic condition. The only fall back is that the clutch hasn't been redone yet but it isn't slipping at all and still feels great. The previous owner had done alot of driving on the highway which i think saved the clutch. As you can see from the repairs, I've put over $1500 into this car between brakes, tires, and the cd player.

So guys, I'm jsut wondering what you think this car should sell at and if you have any other questions to help you make an educated guess as to what you think its worth, please let me know. Any realistic numbers are really appreciated.

But on behalf of the CL, remember it is 8 years old, and to be honest, if you are gonna try to get something as nice for less than 10K, you gonna have to buy another used car with its own set of issues. By the By, what Fan Belt, you mean Timing Belt, yes?

Oh well, good luck.

just dont expect to get too much for it. i've seen people expecting 8-9 thousand with timing belt done and everything, and not even get a phone call. it may be different in your area though, but around 6 or 7 sounds good to me.

sry, I meant the timing belt. I was hoping to get somewhere in the $6000 range because of the work I've done on it and the area I'm in. I saw a 1999 infiniti G20T 5spd and was very interested so I started thinking about selling my cl for something different. But, the guy is moving and I dont think he has a ton of time to spare to wait for me to sell my car and get that situated and then buy his so I don't know if it'll work. Unless any of you guys are in the ct/ma area and are interested haha

Well, just to give you some insight..I just bought a used 97' 3.0, cloth, 132k, timing belt already replaced, excellent condition as far as intertior goes and only a few blemishes in the paint and I paid $4500. I live in NC, but bought it from a guy in VA. Although that was the best deal I found after searching the web for about a month. I saw them sell on eBay from anywhere from 5k to 6k, so I wouldn't expect to get more than that........you're probably better off keeping it, unless you feel like taking on a hefty payment every month......

Just be sure you know what your getting yourself into before buying the car. Look up the most common draw backs for that particular model, the costs in fixing them, insurance rates, etc.....goodluck with your sale and future car. And in my opinion I bet you can get around $5,000.
