Im sick of the slow-matic 3.0

I was thinking of getting a newer 98-2000 manual...

Something 4dr prolly that has a potential of speed but then again can still LOOK nice i.e.. passat/jetta 1.8t not sure of what else tho :\

Any ideas?

a4's can be bought pretty cheap and with a few mods, can be damn quick, they come stick, but reliablility is meh

 

STi. what ill be getting by the end of the year.

 

Im looking under 12,000.. is why im looking at VW's and not STI's

 

im disputing between:

1995 Supra TT
STI
EVO
and
S4

 

Not too many Supras around, you'll probably get lots of looks.

S4 kicks a lot of cars asses but I don't want to be around if stuff starts to break in a used Audi/VW/Mercedes.

 

look for a salvage title WRX for under 12,000.

u can get a 3000gt vr4, i know its not a 4 door, or a sleeper, or anything u just said, but its fast as a mofo.

 

i might be trading mine in for a Nissan SE-R Spec V or a Honda Accord V6 both 2004 but i will wait till 2005 so that the price of both will be lower but they will have not any or less to nothing on it

the tranny for the 3.0's suck and since the 97 is not covered makes me even more to buy a new car, ive also been looking at the audi like klepto said but my main choice is a new 2004 TL

I'm also in the process of selling my 3.0. I am seriously looking at the 1.8t's..but I have been talking to a lot of people who have them and it seems to be split 50\50 with satisfaction...those who have taken care of them have no complaints..but those who abuse them have infinite problems.
