I just got a 99 CL 3.0 with about 77K miles on it...imma newb at finding legit performance online parts for it... and there is NO performance auto stores where i live....i kno i wanna turbocharge it but i just cant seem to find anywhere that has a real good turbo that will fit fit the model/make of my car?...please help if you kno of a site or magazine to find a good turbo n get my acura runnin hard..thanks

Just playin man, welcome. Definitely read the n00b guide that Alex posted. There is no turbo kit for the 3.0 it would have to be a custom job, will cost tons of money, and you will need a new transmission and probably need to rebuild the internals as well. Start small man, don't worry about dumping a turbo in it until you know what you're gettin into.

Your turbo dreams are gonna fall hard if you dont have the cash (serious cash) to keep them up. This includes a fully custom turbo kit and pricey tranny re-inforcement the likes of which only Dr. Evil could support...

Yea there is a first time for everything, im not worried about the cash, im more worried about not finding a reliable person to actually install all this stuff right...but who knows ill be here often and ill let u kno the progress of my new project ill Post up Pictures pretty soon..but i have to rip all stuff out of my old car (got competition system in my other car) but i will keep you updated with that stuff

Sorry to interject, but I must say.. That is is finest use of the work "Lest" I've heard in ages. Best part of my day after I blew my tranny yesterday. Acura wants 4500 for it so it's going to somewhere else, in fact I think I hear the tow truck now!

 

I guess maybe you can squeeze one in between the battery and below the intake to the right of the engine... but probably not.

well im sorry to hear about your luck and glad your ok...a few kids around my area have had the same thing happen to them and they drive evos and stis and a ferrari...and they are total dbags...yea i will have one of those cars within the next 2 years but i have worked for it....so acura kids dont turn out to be stuck up and always work for what they have...btw goodluck...and yea mine will trust me
